Report: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Relaunch in India on October 7

According to a recent report out of Inida, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 set to re-launch in the country on October 7. Amusingly, latest iPhone 7 will also be available for purchase in India.

The latest Galaxy Note 7 which was caught on fire due to its battery issues was launched on August 2. The company recalled all Note 7 units to resolve its battery issue and plane passengers were advised to not turn on or charge the device during travel hours.


As per reports, the Galaxy Note 7 units that will be available for purchase in India are newly manufactured. It means that you won’t find any refurbished versions of the device. According to another report, the Galaxy Note 2 also faced a battery fire hazard in Indigo flight. Hence, there was no damage and the flight safely landed.


To recall, the Galaxy Note 7 packs a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. It is powered by Exynos 8890 Octa, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Galaxy Note 7 has 64 GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. It has 12MP main camera and 5MP front camera. The phablet supports iris scanner and a 3500 mAh battery. The smartphone comes in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, and Black Onyx color options.
