Meizu Pro 6s Rumored to Power by MediaTek MT6796 Chip, Launches on October 31

Chinese manufacturer plans to release improved variant of Meizu Pro 6. The pictures and a few specifications of the upcoming Meizu Pro 6s leaked a couple of days ago. The live images of the smartphone will feature a 1080x1920 FHD display. There is an indication that the Meizu Pro 6 will be powered by MediaTek MT6796 chipset coupled with a deca-core CPU and clocked the Mali-T880 GPU.  

However, the chip isn’t officially launched yet so there take above information as a pinch of salt. The Meizu M6 will support MCharge technology, which lets users to charge their device speedily. Some teasers hint that the device will be launched on October 31 at an event alongside Meizu a mid-range Meizu M5.


The Meizu M5 will be powered by MediaTek MT6750 SoC is under the hood with an octa-core CPU, and the Mali-T860 GPU. It will pack a display with 720 x 1280 resolutions. There will be 2GB of RAM and 16GB native storage. On the backside, the smartphone has 13MP rear camera while there is no information about the selfie shooter.


Renders suggest that the Meizu Pro 6s will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow but Meizu can change it at the last moment and put Android 7.0 Nougat, so expect anything but nothing less. All above leaks are not officially confirmed so Meizu fans have to wait till the official announcement of the device.
