Like iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy S8 will also get rid of 3.5mm headphone jack because the company wants to introduce wireless headphone. Elimination of 3.5mm jack will make room for larger battery, and additional components. It will also remove the physical home button and swap the fingerprint scanner with a visual touch detection system construct inside the display.

Third the smartphone will get free of the PenTile Diamond pixel arrangement in support of the traditional RGB color arrangement. It will make screen more clear with 1440 x 2560-pixel (Quad HD) resolution. It will support a USB Type-C port for charging and syncing the smartphone.  The Galaxy S8 is rumored to support a 4K display for better color reproduction.

Just like iPhone fans, Samsung fans may also get upset with the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack because they wouldn’t be able to charge the device while listening music. However, the fans can get a slim phone with a bigger battery and better resolution. The smartphone would be compatible with the latest Gear VR by Samsung.
