Coolpad Mega 3 Triple SIM Smartphone Launched in India

Chinese mobile maker Coolpad launched the Mega 3 and Note 3S devices in India. The smartphones will be available for purchase in India via Amazon. The major highlight and selling point of the Coolpad Mega 3 device is that it comes with triple-SIM slots and supports VoLTE.


In terms of specifications, Mega 3 features a 5.5 inch HD IPS panel with 720x1080 pixels resolution and 269ppi pixel density. It has 2GB of RAM and powered by by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor. It comes with 16GB internal storage expandable further via MicroSD card.


The smartphone runs Android Marshmallow and gets power with a 3050 mAh battery. The company claims that the battery can last up to 200 hours when the device is in standby mode. As for optics, the device features a 8MP rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. The coolpad Mega 3 packs an 8MP front camera for selfies and video chats.  The selfie camera comes with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture and 80.1 degree field of view.


The CoolPad offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, and triple-SIM slots connectivity options. The triple SIM device measures 154.4x76.8x8.35mm and the smartphone weighs 170.5 grams. It comes in Gold, Grey, and White color options.


On the other hand, the Note 3S sports a similar 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1080 pixels resolution. It also features a fingerprint sensor at the back.The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Note 3S houses a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 2500 mAh battery.
