Apple iPhone 7 reportedly Exploded, Samsung Note 7 Contrast Initiated

The world has achieved new gratitude for the hazard of lithium-ion batteries with the current incidents related to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Fear of exploding and fire in devices is always nearby. Across the world, we have seen many incidents of smartphone explode especially Android phones. However, the iPhone 7 was out of debate till now.

Earlier this week, a Reddit user reported a case of a purportedly exploded iPhone 7 Plus device. The user stated that the iPhone 7 was busted in transit. The case of iPhone 7 Plus is different from Galaxy Note 7 case; the iPhone didn’t exploded while charging or turning on.


It appears that the iPhone 7 Plus explosion was due to some kind of transportation misfortune which affected the battery of the device. However, there are no official reports about the actual reason of the iPhone 7 Plus explosion. So this rumor could be taken as a pinch of salt.


The iPhone user said that an Apple executive contacted the supposed sufferer of the exploded device. According to the user the executive promised that the company would work with AT&T carrier to accelerate a replacement unit.


To recall, the iPhone 7 Plus features a 5.5 LED-backlit IPS LCD with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. The device is powered by Apple A10 Fusion, clocked at Quad-core 2.23 GHz, and coupled with six-core graphics. The iPhone 7 Plus comes in 32/128/256 GB native storage with 3 GB of RAM. It has Dual 12 MP rear cameras with (28mm, f/1.8, OIS & 56mm, f/2.8), phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom, and quad-LED (dual tone) flash. There is a 7 MP front shooter with f/2.2, 32mm, 1080p@30fps, 720p@240fps, face detection, HDR, and panorama.


The device supports a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer sensors. It is powered by 2900 mAh battery and comes in Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold colors.
