Gionee M2017 with Dual Rear Cameras and 7000 mAh Battery Teased Ahead of its Launch

Another Chinese company Gionee has teased the release of its upcoming device via the Weibo, the smartphone is supposed to be called M2017. GizmoChina first reported the puzzled picture shared by Gionee which illustrated the fresh brand envoy holding the forthcoming smartphone in absent offer.


According to previous leaks, Gionee’s M2017 will pack a dual rear camera setup. The smartphone is expected to house dual rear camera sensors 12MP and 13MP from Sony and Samsung respectively. There will be an 8MP front facing camera for capturing selfies. The biggest highlight of the M2017 is its huge 7000 mAh battery which is believed to power the device for long hours.


The smartphone is rumored to feature a 5.7-inch QHD display and it will be powered by 1.9GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone will have a 6GB of RAM and 128GB native storage out of the box. The device measures 155.2x77.6x10.6mm, and weigh 230 grams.The M2017 probably will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Last month the device was launched in China for CNY 2,499.


The Gionee S9 also houses dual rear cameras with dual tone LED flash; the camera permit users regulate the depth and focus of field blur on clicked pictures. It has a self-timer and seven beauty effects to enhance beauty of selfies. The device is wrapped in metal body and sports a fingerprint sensor.

 

Another Gionee GN5005 has cleared TENAA certification, it comes with 4000 mAh battery.
