LG Unveils a G Pad III 10.1 Tablet with 6000 mAh Battery and LTE Connectivity

After leak by a reliable leakster @eveleaks, LG has revealed the G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE tablet. The tablet name hints that it has 10.1 inch screen, and it comes with 1920x1200 resolutions.


 

The G Pad III 10.1 tablet supports LTE connectivity, and is powered by octa-core 1.5GHz processor. It has 32GB internal memory and 2GB of RAM. The tablet weights at 510g, and measures 256.2 x 167.9 x 6.7 to 7.9mm. A 6000 mAh battery keeps the light on and it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.


In terms of camera, the G Pad III 10.1 packs a 5MP front camera and 5MP main camera. The tablet allows up to 70 degrees of adjustment because it comes with built-in kick stand. It also supports a Time Square' UX, which can be used as a desk clock, tabletop calendar, or digital frame.


In terms of price, the tablet carries a KRW 429,000 (approximately $360) price tag. The device is available only in South Korea and there are no words regarding it will be available in other countries or not. The company said that a new version of the tablet with a stylus pen will be launched early next year.

 

In addition, according to a report LG Chem Ltd may supply smartphone batteries to Samsung, considering a new supplier may solve battery issue in Samsung devices.
