OnePlus was speculated to release an upgraded variant of OnePlus 3 anytime in December. The OnePlus 3T variant will come with a few upgrades such as new processor. Now a latest leak reveals expected price of the device.
According to a trusted tipster @EvenBlass, the OnePlus 3T will be but more expensive than the base model. It will be priced around $80 more than the current OnePlus 3. EvenBlass claims that the device will come with a $479 price tag. If we compare the OnePlus 3T with other smartphones available in the market the device is still priced reasonably.
Both mobile makers Google and Apple price their flagship higher than OnePlus 3 and upcoming OnePlus 3T. The new variant will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, while the standard variant comes with Snapdragon 820. The smartphone is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat with OxygenOS out of the box. The OnePlus 3T will resemble to the same design and even support Dash Charge functionality.
Moreover, the OnePlus is now reportedly removing Optic OLED display, which was seen on the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T will pack an LCD panel. The OnePlus’s CEO also stated that the firm will continue to use the Optic OLED display in the foreseeable future. However, the upgraded version worth price increase because it will come with upgraded features. Previously the comapny announced that it has hatled production of the OnePlus 3 and working on next variant.
