Gionee GN5005 clears TENAA Certification comes with 4,000mAh Battery

The Gionee’s next smartphone has cleared Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA’s certification. The smartphone is listed as Gionee GN5005 on the website and reveals some of its key specifications.


According to the listing, the Gionee GN5005 packs a 5-inch HD display. The device will have 16GB internal memory and 3GB of RAM. In terms of photography, the device houses an 8MP main camera and a 5MP front facing camera.


The device measures 144.3×70.5×8.6mm and weights 140g, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone comes with a larger battery capacity such as a 4000 mAh pack.  The leaked pictures show Gionee GN5005 in gold color options. Back side of the Gionee GN5005 resembles to Huawei devices and front side of the smartphone resembles to Galaxy Grand Prime. Unfortunately, availability and pricing information of the device isn’t known yet.


Furthermore, another Gionee device M2017 has received TENAA certification. As per listings, the smartphone features a 5.7 inch display with 1440 x 2560 resolutions. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB not expandable internal storage. The M2017 comes with 13MP/8MP rear and selfie camera combo. The device is rumored to be bulky as compared to Gionee GN5005 and it will come in Black color only. Let’s wait till the company launch these devices.
