LG announcement: LG V20 Sales Starts from this Week

Today in a press release, LG has officially announced that the LG V20 will up for purchase from this week and the device will hit South Korea market first. Last week Korean media have already confirmed that the smartphone will be available for purchase on September 29. 

The manufacturer also said that other mobile market such as Asia, North America, Latin America, and the Middle East will get the LG V20 in a couple of weeks. Some rumors suggest that the device is scheduled to launch in the US on October 21. Apart from that, there is no information regarding device launch in Europe, so let’s wait till the company makes an official announcement.


To recall, the LG V20 features a 5.7 IPS LCD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolutions. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, clocked at Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo), and coupled with Adreno 530. Under the hood, there is a 32/64 GB native storage with 4 GB of RAM. There is a Dual 16 MP rear camera with f/1.8 & 8 MP, f/2.4, laser & phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom, OIS, and dual-LED flash. It has a 5 MP front camera as well with f/1.9 sensor.


The LG V20 connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot. The smartphone is powered with 3200 mAh battery and it comes in Titan, Silver, and Pink color options.
