The Motorola Moto Z was announced back in July, the device is available for purchase in the US via Verizon. But now you can buy unlocked Moto Z from Motorola’s official website as well as third party retailers including Best Buy and Amazon.
As for specifications, the Motorola Moto Z features a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolutions. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is planned upgrade to 7.0 Nougat, and powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820. It has 32/64 GB internal storage with 4 GB of RAM. The Moto Z features a 13 MP rear camera with f/1.8, laser autofocus, OIS, and dual-LED. There is a 5 MP rear camera with f/2.2, 1.4 µm pixel size, LED flash, and 1080p.
The smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, and hotspot connectivity options. The Moto Z supports Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, and USB On-The-Go; magnetic connector as well. The device measures 153.3 x 75.3 x 5.2 mm and weights 136 g. It features a fingerprint scanner and gets power with a 2600 mAh battery.
The Moto Z smartphone was launched alongside with Moto Z Play, and Moto Z Force. The Moto Z is compatible with only GSM networks so Sprint subscribers are out of a fortune. Those users waiting for the Moto Z Play should know that the smartphone will go on sale starting from October 20.
