Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL Specifications, Price and Availability Information

Google launched its first branded smartphones Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL at an event in San Francisco on Tuesday. Almost everything about the device was leaked in advance in rumors.

In terms of Specifications, both smartphones are same except their display size and battery capacity. The Google Pixel packs a 5-inch full-HD AMOLED display and Google Pixel XL comes with a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED display. Both smartphones displays are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Both devices sport an aluminium unibody and polished glass combination at the back.


The Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, and has 4GB of RAM. The smartphones supports 12.3 MP primary camera with a Sony IMX378 sensor, PDAF, a large f/2.0 aperture and 1.55-micron pixels. Both pack an 8 megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX179 sensor, an f/2.4 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels.Both smartphones feature fingerprint scanner, support USB Type-C, and run Android 7.0 Nougat.


Meanwhile, Google also launched the Chromecast Ultra with 4K HDR, Daydream VR headset, Google Wifi, and a price tag for Google Home, its Amazon Echo competitor. The Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL will be up for pre-orders from Tuesday in Canada, Australia, UK, Germany, and the US. Both smartphones will be available in Really Blue, Quite Black, and Very Silver color options. The Really Blue color variant will be limited and it will not hit India market.


The Google Pixel 32GB variant is available for $649, while 128GB model will cost you $749. The Google Pixel XL 32GB variant will carry $749 price tag, whereas 128GB variant can be purchased for $869.
