Huawei Allegedly Rejected to Craft Google Pixel Devices exclusive of Its Own Logo

According to a new report, Google’s partnership with Huawei has wobbly, once the Chinese Company backed out because Google said Huawei OEM logo won’t be positioned on the smartphone. Android Police reports that Google will control over its hardware this year.

Therefore, upcoming Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL devices were expected to launch on Tuesday, but the logo issue could be a reason in delay of Nexus devices. Initially, Google was rumored to partner with Huawei for Pixel device, but later Google went for HTC which is officially not confirmed yet.

The report also claims that during the Nexus 6P project, Google had informed Huawei that the smartphone would be sold in all four US carriers. It was a tempting offer for Huawei that was looking for the best way to enter into the United States market. The Nexus 6P was supposed to sell through all the four carriers in the USA. However, the smartphone wasn’t sold by any of them.

The upcoming Pixel smartphones would be a Google-branded with no mention of Huawei logo or name on the devices. However, Huawei didn’t accept the offer so HTC won the contract. HTC made Nexus phones Sailfish and Marlin are under working.

So Huawei lost a major chance to enter into the US market, the manufacturer entered in the market via Mate 8 but the device couldn’t make noteworthy impact. Some rumors hint that Huawei is still in partnership with Google for making Pixel tablets. There are rumors that forthcoming Huawei's 7-inch Pixel tablet will run Google's new Andromeda operating system.
