Chinese Company Xiaomi launched Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus in an event on 27 September. Both smartphones come with better camera and enhanced specifications. Camera samples of the Mi 5s also shared by Xiaomi CEO ahead of the device launch. Some earlier rumors suggested that company will unveil Xiaomi Mi Note 2 along with Mi 5s and 5s Plus, but the device didn’t see the light of the day.
The device is anticipated to be a high-end smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is rumored to feature a 5.7 inch AMOLED curved edge screen. It will come with Force Touch display and it will carry a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The smartphone is expected to come in two variants, one will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM aboard. While, the premium variant will come with Snapdragon 821 SoC featuring a quad-core 2.4GHz CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU.
The Pro model will come with 256GB RAM and it will be powered by a 3600 mAh battery. The second variant would be called as Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro. As for price information concern is, the smartphone will come with a 399 USD price tag. However, the price of the Note 2 Pro model isn’t confirmed yet. There is no confirmed information about the device, but Analyst Pan Jiutang hints that the Mi Note 2 will be launched in October.
