Nokia Finally Back in Smartphone ring with Nokia 6 Android Phone

We’ve all been fans of the cellular phone manufacturing giant known as Nokia since the beginning of the telecommunications era starting from the year 1987. A lot has changed since then and the company kept its sights high above, creating and successfully marketing various legends in the world of mobile cellular technology. Phones like Nokia 3310 need no explanation. Then came a time for smartphones and Nokia released its Series 40 platform that were able to run Java-based applications. This was succeeded by the famous Symbian phones that ran till 2011.

 

 

The company started being under pressure by the evolving market with the induction of Android and iOS taking the lead. A partnership with Microsoft in 2011 led to a new series of Lumia smartphones by Nokia that ran on Windows OS.

Every fan of the Nokia wanted a Nokia phone that ran on the Android platform. Well, our wishes have finally come true. On 18 May 2106, Nokia sold the feature phone division to a Finland based company HMD that has announced the first Nokia android phone last day. The Nokia 6, a new smartphone running on Android.

The mid range phone is equipped with a Octa-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 based on Snapdragon 430 and Adreno 505 GPU. Armed with 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage and microSD card included, harboring a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p display, a rear camera of 16 MP and front 8 MP has surely sated our long time desires for a Nokia Android phone. Nokia 6 is one of the five new Android Nokia devices that Nokia has announced for the year 2017. Nokia E1 and D1c might be revealed by the end of February 2017 and more will be in next event
