The newly launched Oppo R9s smartphone is now up for sale in China. Interested customers can buy the device via offline and online channels in the country.
Some reports suggest that Oppo is anticipating high demand for the Oppo R9s, so the company has reserved around a million units of the smartphone to make certain there aren’t any shortage.
To recall, the Oppo R9s is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625, clubbed with Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53, and clocked at Adreno 506. It features a 5.5 inches display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The smartphone has 64 GB native storage and 4 GB of RAM.
The Oppo R9s sports a 16 MP primary camera with f/1.7, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. The main camera features include 1/2.3" sensor size, 1.55µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. The smartphone comes has a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 lens. The Oppo R9s connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP.
The device supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. The Oppo R9s gets power via a Li-Po 3010 non-removable mAh battery with support of the VOOC fast charge. The smartphone will be available in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color options. The dual SIM device measures 153 x 74.3 x 6.6 mm and weights 145 g. It comes with RMB 2,799 (around $415) price tag.
