Google revealed their two new Nexus smartphones and they both are equally good in performance and have their own style and design. Both the handsets are made by the famous smartphone manufacturers LG and Huawei. LG is the company got the honor to make the Nexus phone for Google third time but the Huawei is new and they made their very first Nexus device for Google. The LG Nexus 5X is launched, but the Nexus lovers get bit disappointed because they expected some changes in new Nexus 5X but, unfortunately, the missing features are not negligible and the handset might face some criticism on it. Here we are going to discuss the features which are missing in this new Android Phone in details.
Gorilla Glass 4 is missing
Though Huawei made the first Nexus device but they deliver their best and protect the handset with all new Gorilla Glass 4 which is missing in LG Nexus 5X. LG still stuck upon the Gorilla Glass 3. This is the first feature which disappointed the users.
Memory
Users are expecting to have more RAM in new Nexus 5X but, unfortunately, the handset comes with 2 GB RAM. Previously we heard that LG placed 3 GB RAM inside the device but that was false. Another point of disappointment is the lack of microSD card slot. The users are stuck upon 16 GB and 32 GB internal memory and they have to think before storing too many data inside the handset.
Wireless charging
Usage of wireless charging feature is common nowadays and most of the manufacturers facilitate the users with this wireless charging. In case of Google Nexus devices the previous Nexus smartphones were also featured with wireless charging but unexpectedly in case of LG Nexus 5X the handset comes without this option and compels the users to think over it before buying the handset.
No Optical Image Stabilization
There is no doubt that the Nexus 5X come with better camera feature and has 1.55 sized pixels sensor which is large in size and does not use commonly in midrange smartphones. The large 1.55 pixel size sensor increases the light of image than any ordinary smartphone but still the handset camera has no OIS and Google justified the missing feature in the words that the Nexus 5X does not need any OIS assistance because of the large pixel size sensor.
Stereo front-facing speakers are missing
The speakers play the important role in enhancing the Audio quality of the handset but here users also get disappointment because the LG Nexus 5X is without front facing stereo speakers which also affect the sound quality of the handset. Well, Google should think over it and try to overcome in this regard.
Non-removable battery
Users prefer to use the handsets which come with powerful battery or at least they have the option to replace the battery in any emergency but in LG Nexus 5X users have to compromise with non-removable battery and they should carry the charger with them for facing the low battery issue.
Odd placement of LED flash and Laser Autofocus
Google is too trendy in their Nexus smartphone lines. They followed the same design line to some extent in this new handset which may affect the beauty and style of new Nexus 5X and Nexus lovers might hastate to buy this handset because of the odd placement of LED flash and laser autofocus. Hopefully in next Nexus Phone Google will improve the handset design to the logical manner.
