Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update to Rollout on August 9

Microsoft has just begun to send Windows 10 Anniversary Updates to over 350 million Windows 10 smartphones globally. The update was also available for Microsoft’s HoloLens but the firm delayed the launch of the Anniversary update for Windows 10 Mobile devices. The update is made for those Microsoft smartphones that are Windows 10 supported, but they are running Windows 8.1.

Today the company’s India Twitter account stated that the Anniversary update for Windows 10 Mobile will be available for August 9. There are chances that Windows 10 updates will not be rolled out on August 9 because previously we have experienced that support team statements are incorrect so anything could happen. Take the information as a drop in the bucket and wait for the latest updates for Windows 10 Mobile.

Microsoft has introduced diverse smartphones with Windows 10 Operating system such as Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. The new updates are much better than the previous OS system, the new OS rolls out various upgraded features. The Windows 10 OS is better OS and it could capture more market share, but Microsoft’s focus is on computers and tablets so smartphone division lakes innovation. The software is more flexible than iOS but less than android, users get Microsoft’s own apps in their devices.

The company added a new Wallet app to the OS – one which supports tap to pay via NFC and more. Its NFC feature works in some countries while in the UK the features don’t function. If Microsoft offers this feature in UK and Australia then it would be a major advantage for many Windows 10 fans.
