Google Pixel and Google Pixel are Up for Sale in the US

Google’s latest smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL are now available for purchase in the US. You can buy the devices either be purchased via Verizon, Best Buy or directly from Google.

Google store is offering both 32GB and 128GB models in silver and black. However, shipment of the devices will not start until next month. In the meantime, Verizon has smartphones in stock; the carrier is offering blue color as well. But Pixel and Pixel XL 32GB models are available in blue color and the shipment will begin from November 18.


For review, the Google Pixel features a 5.0 inch and Google Pixel XL packs 5.5 inch AMOLED screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The smartphones Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821, clocked at Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo), and coupled with Adreno 530. Both comes in 32GB and 128 GB internal storage with 4 GB of RAM.


The Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL pack a 12.3 MP rear camera with f/2.0, phase detection & laser autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The selfie cameras are 8 MP with f/2.4, 1/3.2" sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, 1080p. Both offer Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot connectivity options. Both devices support v3.0, and Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.


The standard model sport 2770 mAh battery while the bigger model features a 3450 mAh battery. Both smartphones are available in Very Black, Quite Silver, and Really Blue. Both phones run Android OS, v7.1 (Nougat) which has received its update as well.
