Lenovo's Tango-enabled Phab2 Pro Device Goes on Sale

Last month, Lenovo's Tango-enabled Phab2 Pro was launched in the United States, now the device has hit the European market as well.


In terms of specifications, the Phab2 Pro packs a huge 6.4-inch QHD display and is powered by Snapdragon 652 SoC, coupled with Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53), and clocked at Adreno 510. It has 64 GB expandable internal storage with 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 16 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus, and depth & motion tracking sensors. It also has an 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.2, 1.4 µm pixel size, and it can record 1080p videos.


The Phab2 Pro comes with Dolby Atmos audio enhancement / Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 audio system. The mobile features a fingerprint sensor and has a massive 4050 mAh battery which wakes it up. It will be available in Gunmetal Grey, and Champagne Gold color options.


At the moment, there are almost 35 Tango-compatible apps available in the Play Store, which let users measure whatever thing in your house. You can playing AR dominoes, visualize how furniture and appliances will look in your home, playing with virtual pets, and painting and drawing "on" any surface of your home.


The smartphone is available in Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and France; it is available for €499, or approximately $530 in these countries. However, UK website of Lenovo still shows the device as coming soon.
