Finally Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus devices in its event. Both smartphones come with enriched specifications so let’s take a glance of specifications of both devices.
The standard model Galaxy Mi 5s features a 5.15-inch IPS LCD display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, and has 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage. There is a 12 MP main camera with F/2.0 aperture, and 4MP front 2μm large pixel and F/2.0 aperture.
A new ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is embedded in the home button on the device. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor works better than other fingerprint scanners. The Mi 5s supports Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and NFC. The device supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 and has 3200mAh battery. As for price, The Mi 5s 3GB/64GB model will be available for $299 and the 4GB/128GB model will cost $344. The smartphone will be available in gray, silver, gold, and rose gold.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus packs a 5.7 inch display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Similar to Mi 5s, the Plus model is also powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, has 3GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB internal storage options. The smartphone has a dual 13MP main camera and 4MP front camera. One of the dual rear cameras captures colored images and the other shoots only black and white images. The camera samples of the device leaked yesterday ahead of its launch. The device is powered by a 3800mAh battery.
The Mi 5s Plus 3GB/64GB model is priced for $344, while the 4GB/128GB model comes with a $389 price tag. It’s available in the same four colors.
