Alcatel Flash Plus Launched in Asia with $160 Price Tag

TLC’s acquired company Alcatel has been very consistent with the Flash brand. Back in September 2014, first Alcatel Flash went on official sale whilst the Flash 2 smartphone was announced after a year in September 2015.

The variant of Alcatel Flash, Flash Plus announced in 2015 and in this month the company will launch Alcatel Flash Plus 2. The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 features a 5.5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The mobile is packed in metallic body and it looks more sizzling and trendy as compare to last year models. The smartphone is powered by Helio P10 chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor (4x 1.8GHz + 4x 1.0GHz) and Mali-T860MP2 GPU.


The Flash Plus 2 comes in two variants such as 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB of RAM with 32GB memory. The smartphone owns a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash feature. There is a 5MP selfie snapper with LED flash. The Flash Plus 2 sports are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, GPS, and microUSB v2.0 connectivity options. The mobile comes with fingerprint, gyro, accelerometer, proximity, and compass.


 

A 3000 mAh non-removable battery keeps the device up and it sports fast charging. The Dual SIM device weights 157g with 152.6 x 76.4 x 8.2 mm. The smartphone 6.0 Android Marshmallow and it comes in two color options such as Venus Gold, and Luna Silver. The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 will be launched in Malaysia, Monaco, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. There is no information about availability of the device in other markets. The expected price for the 16GB Flash Plus 2 is $160 and the 32GB model will come with $190 price tag.
