For the Moment HTC Bolt won’t Hit Canada Market

HTC Bolt was launched in the United States via Sprint carrier on November 11, interested customers can only but the device from Sprint. In upcoming months rest network carriers in the states will also offer the smartphone, but for now it is only available at Sprint.

HTC hasn’t said anything regarding HTC Bolt availability in other regions. However, it is confirmed that the smartphone will not hit the Canadian market. “The HTC Bolt is a Sprint exclusive device and will only be available in the U.S. It won't be available in Canada,” confirmed by an HTC representative. People in Canada who were looking for purchasing the HTC Bolt can order it from United States or other countries.

Though, back in October some renders suggested that HTC Bolt will be launched worldwide with the name of HTC 10 Evo, so it could be available in Canada as well. The leak came from a reputable leakster EvenBlass,  thus we don’t find any reason to not to believe the information.

For a quick recap, the HTC Bolt packs a 5.5 inch Super LCD display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. It is built from aluminum and it has IP57 certification, which protects it from rain, spills, and accidental drop in water not more than 3.2 feet and up to 30 minutes. It is the first water resistant Android smartphone to be shaped out of the material.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset and octa-core 2GHz CPU. It has 32GB internal storage and 3BG of RAM, MicroSD support is also available for those who want to enhance device’s memory.  The HTC Bolt supports BoomSound Adaptive Audio headphones that plug into the USB Type-C.
