HTC Bolt without 3.5mm Jack is Official Now via Sprint

Previously rumored and leaked in pictures HTC Bolt is official now; the smartphone is crafted for Sprint’s LTE Plus network as it supports the 3X20 carrier aggregation that permits for fast data speeds.


 

The HTC Bolt features a 5.5 inch Super LCD display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. It is built from aluminum and it has IP57 certification, which protects it from rain, spills, and accidental drop in water not more than 3.2 feet and up to 30 minutes. It is the first water resistant Android smartphone to be shaped out of the material.


The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset and octa-core 2GHz CPU. It has 32GB internal storage and 3BG of RAM, MicroSD support is also available for those who want to enhance device’s memory.  The HTC Bolt supports BoomSound Adaptive Audio headphones that plug into the USB Type-C. The headphones deliver 24-bit Hi-Res audio and adjust to your hearing for the best sound experience.


The 16MP rear camera comes with PDAF laser focusing; OIS, f/2.0 lens and it can record 4K videos as well. The front facing camera is 8MP, both cameras capture quality pictures though. A 3200 mAh battery keeps the device up and it supports Quick Charge 2.0 for quick charging. The HTC bolt features a Power Savings Mode and Extreme Power Savings Mode which allows users to adjust the screen and save power.


The HTC Bolt can handle 450Mbps down and 50Mbps up because it supports Cat.9 LTE. The latest OS Android 7.0 is pre-installed along with HTC's Sense UI. The smartphone offers unlimited photo storage in Google Photos, and video calling app Google Duo which is pre-loaded. 


It comes in Glacial Silver and Gunmetal color. The Sprint exclusive device will be available via online stores for $25 a month over 24 months.
