New member of the Wileyfox family, Swift 2X released

The British smartphone manufacturers started their business in 2015. Their unique approach of selling products exclusively online has set them apart. Their devices run on the Cyanogen OS, the most popular aftermarket Android derivate. The main focus of the company was to provide affordable phones compared to the competitors without compromising on the product quality. Wileyfox’s CEO Nick Muir has been the general manager of the electronics manufacturer Motorola.

Wilefox’s device includes a range of products that include Spark, Storm and Swift smartphones. The Swift subclass has received its latest third smartphone, the Swift 2 X.

Specs

The 8.8mm thick phone is made of aviation-grade aluminum.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, Adreno 505 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage expandable to 128GB via microSD card.

The device features a 16MP rear camera armed with a primary Samsung 3L8 sensors and dual LED flash paired with an 8MP front camera.

Support features include NFC, fingerprint sensors on the back, dual-sim connectivity and a 3010 mAh battery with USB type-C slot supporting Quick Charge 3.0.

Swift 2 X runs on the Cyanogen 13.1 platform based on the previous Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow though it is expected to be shifted to the new Android 7.0 Nougat soon.
