Sony Xperia XZ Deep Pink Variant Launched in the UK

Sony XZ is available in four colors, but only three colors Platinum, Mineral black, and Forest Blue are available for purchase. Now Deep Pink variant also has launched in the UK and listed on O2 carrier’s website.  

To recall, Sony XZ packs a 5.2 IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions, a Gorilla Glass protects the display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, clocked at Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo), and coupled with Adreno 530. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow planned upgrade to 7.0 Nougat. The Sony XZ comes with 32/64 GB internal storage with 3 GB of RAM.


The smartphone houses a 23 MP rear camera with f/2.0, 24mm, phase detection and laser autofocus, and LED flash. There is a 13 MP secondary camera on the front side of the device which comes with f/2.0, 22mm, 1/3" sensor size, 1080p, and HDR. The device connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, and Bluetooth v4.2, A2DP, aptX, LE. The Xperia XZ supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass, and color spectrum sensors.


The smartphone supports fast battery charging (Quick Charge 3.0) and gets power by a 2900 mAh battery. The Dual SIM device measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weights 161 g. Unluckily, there is no information on whether the other markets will get Deep Pink Xperia XZ or not and when it will be launched there.
