Asus ZenFone AR Google Tango Smartphone Reportedly Set to Launch at CES 2017

Asus could be the second smartphone maker to launch Google Tango-ready smartphone. As per a report, the company is working on the ZenFone AR and it is expected to launch at CES 2017.


According to CEO Shen, the ZenFone AR will come with advanced performance and functions at a competitive price tag. It’s not confirmed yet whether Asus will launch only one device like Lenovo or it will work on multiple smartphones.


For those uninformed, Google's Project Tango is centered on apparatus vision, with a camera and sensor setup that offers action tracking, area learning, and depth perception. This can allow amplified actuality applications like gaming, inside navigation, and search.


The CEO also claimed that the ZenFone 4 choice of devices will be launched in the second quarter of the next year. He teased that the new smartphone will pack an improved camera. He accepted that Asus suffered loss due to lesser than expected shipments.


Previously this month, the world’s first Tango smartphone the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro was officially available for purchase at $499. It is the first feasible device from Google's Project Tango squad that was operating on machine vision in mobile devices.
