Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee exposed the forthcoming smartphone Gionee S6s in its S series. The device will be announced at an event in India on August 22. Unfortunately, there’s not much information about the device expect its selfie snapper, which is highlighted feature of the device. All details about the device will be available at the time of its launch.
The picture shows that the Gionee S6s will feature a fingerprint scanner and it will be wrapped in a metal body. Most probably the smartphone will have specifications close to the Redmi Note 3 and should be priced around the same device.The company offers budget smartphones so we expect that the Gionee S6s would carry a price tag according to its specifications.
Previously in June, the company unveiled Gionee S6 Pro in China; it is the descendant of last year model Gionee S6. The device packs a 5.5 inches IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, powered by Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has 64 GB with 4 GB RAM and supports MicroSD card which can enhance device memory up to 256GB. On the back side of the phone there is a 13MP rear camera and on the front side there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The Gionee S6 features fingerprint scanner and support various other sensors. It gets power with a 3130 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery and comes in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold colors.
We expect that the upcoming Gionee S6s would be a grand smartphone with an outstanding selfie camera; probably it would be Gionee’s first phone with a bigger camera.
