Meizu Launches a Meizu MX6 Variant with 3GB of RAM

Meizu has announced a new model of MX6 device that comes with a different RAM. The standard variant comes with 4GB of RAM but the new variant houses a 3GB of RAM.

While, other specifications are same such as, the Meizu MX6 packs a 5.5 display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. The smartphone is powered by the Mediatek MT6797 Helio X20, clocked at Deca-core (2x2.3GHz Cortex-A72, 4x1.9GHz Cortex-A53, 4x1.4GHz Cortex-A53), and coupled with Mali-T880 MP4. There is a 12 MP rear camera with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. On the front side of the Meizu MX6 you will find a 5 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 lens.


The Meizu MX6 offer Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth v4.1 connectivity options. It supports a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. The dual SIM smartphone is powered by a non-removable 3060 mAh battery. It comes in Gray, Rose Gold, Silver, and Champagne Gold colors.


The new variant of Meixu MX6 is available for RMB 1,799 (approximately $270) according to current exchange rates. While, the standard model with 4GB RAM was launched at $300 price tag. The device will go on sale in China from October 1. Interested customers can buy the device via Meizu’s official store, Lynx, and JD Mall.
