Asus ZenFone 3 is the first Asus Phone come with Finger Print Scanner

Asus is preparing the 3rd generation of ZenFone and it is said that the upcoming device will be featured with the fingerprint scanner.


The report comes from Taiwan and suggests that the handset featured with finger print scanner are usually increase the sale of the device but now the fingerprint sensor prices cut down up to 5% because of the high price the fingerprint sensor only used in high end devices and the price reduction in sensor make the technology available for the mid and budget friendly smartphones as well.

 

 

The Asus is busy to finalize the things for their upcoming ZenFone 3 which is the 3rd generation of ZenFone and expectedly released in 2016. It is said that the upcoming smartphone will be featured with fingerprint scanner technology and if the rumors become true this is the first Asus phone come with fingerprint scanner technology. The handset might be available in the last of May 2016 or early June. Previously there is no Asus handset available with this technology and this time the sensor used in the device made by Elan Microelectronics and China-based Goodix.


Asus already has many competitors like Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo and Meizu and they need to work hard for winning the competition of technology and get the good market share from the regions. For getting their goal, the company has plan to shipped more than 30 million smartphone devices in 2016.

 

The same report also suggest that the available ZenFone did good business in many regions like South Asia, India, Brazil, Taiwan and Russia and from selling devices 80% handsets are featured with Qualcomm and Intel chipset and 20% are embedded with MediaTek system on the chip.
