AT&T Starts Accepting Samsung Galaxy S3 Frontier LTE Smartwatch Preorders

Finally Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch is officially available for purchase. It will be available through Samsung online and offline stores and party retailers such as Best Buy and Amazon.


The manufacturer mentioned that the LTE variant Gear S3 frontier will be available via T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. However, carriers haven’t revealed pricing and release date information of the smartwatch.

AT&T is one of the biggest carriers in the country; it has started taking pre-orders for the Samsung G3 frontier LTE smartwatch. The company didn’t utter any word regarding availability of the watch, but we assume AT&T might launch the watch according to Samsung launch date. The Samsung Gear S3 has set to be available on November 18.

If you will go for Gear S3 from AT&T, according to the carrier’s installment plan you have to pay $17.50 per month for the watch for next 20 months. In total the watch will cost you $350, this is the amount how much every other retailer and Samsung is asking for it. Users who have bought a Galaxy smartphone from AT&T on AT&T Next plan can get benefit from the carrier’s a two year contract. According to the contract you will have to pay just $49.99.

As for specification, the smartwatch features a 1.3 inch Super AMOLED with 360 x 360 pixels resolution. The Gear S3 frontier measures 49 x 46 x 12.9 mm weights 62 g. The watch supports Samsung Pay, IP68 certified so it is dust proof and water resistant over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes. It is also compatible with standard 22mm straps. It darts Tizen-based wearable platform 2.3.2 and is powered by Dual-core 1.0 GHz. The Gear S3 has 4 GB internal storage and 768 MB RAM. It has a 380 mAh battery and comes in black color.
