Gionee is working on S9 and S9T smartphones, the S9 has spotted on TENNA and set to launch on November 15. The smartphone will come a dual rear camera setup, a teaser image also confirmed launch date of the S9 and showed main camera as well. The S9 has spotted on AnTuTu website as well and revealed its specifications.
The teaser image didn’t say anything about the S9T smartphone’s launch date so it is not confirmed yet whether the device will go official along with standard variant S9. The S9T is different from the standard model in terms of specifications, weight, and color options. The S9 is bit lightweight 166.5g as compared to S9T’s 200.8g weight.
Both Gionee S9 and Gionee S9T have similar specifications too such as both feature 5.5-inch full HD display and powered by octa-core chipset. Both smartphones have dual rear camera, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage. Both devices gets power with a 3000 mAh battery and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Dimensions of the S9 and S9T are same, both measure 154.2 × 76.4 × 7.4mm. The base model will be available in Gold color while the S9T will come in Jet Black color.
