Leak: Upcoming Mi Note 2 could be the Most Expensive Smartphone in Xiaomi’s Lineup

In recent weeks Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2 has popped up in several renders and rumors. Xiaomi has already scheduled an event in China on October 25, where the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to see the light of the day. CEO Lei Jun also teased that the forthcoming Mi Note 2 will come with a surprise.

Now a new leaked Xiaomi’s presentation slide suggests pricing details of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone. As per leaked slide, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will carry a CNY 5,699 (about $ 845) price tag. The device will be available for purchase in China from November 1. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be the most expensive device ever, if the leaked pricing detail turns out to be true.


According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be powered with a Snapdragon 821 processor and coupled with 6GB of RAM. It is anticipated to pack a full-HD display. The smartphone is also said to have 128GB internal storage with QHD screen. It is rumored to have 4GB of RAM with 64GB of native storage. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will support a 21MP main camera and a 3600 mAh battery.

In preliminary leaks the smartphone was tipped to come with dual-edge design, but recent renders hint that it would have a bezel less display.
