Microsoft's Brick and Mortar Stores Start Selling HP Elite X3

Microsoft announced that its HP Elite x3 device will be available for purchase from its brick and morter stores from next week. The sale will start from October 10, until now the smartphone has only been available through online channels, but from now on it will be available through stores as well.

The HP Elite X3 features a 5.96 inches screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolutions. It will be powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, clocked at Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo), and coupled with Adreno 530. The smartphone has 64 GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. The HP Elite X3 houses a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.2, autofocus, and LED flash. On the front side of the device you will find an 8MP selfie snapper as well.


The smartphone is IP67 certified so it can resist against dust and water, its water resistant is up to 1 meter and 30 minutes. The handset also resist against grade salt, fog, humidity, transport shock and thermal shock, etc. A Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects screen of the device and keep it safe from scratches. The device runs Microsoft Windows 10 and gets power with a 4150 mAh battery.


Like Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the HP Elite X3 also features an Iris scanner, which enhances security of the device. It also supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot, and Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE. It supports Type-C reversible connector which charges battery quickly. The HP Elite x3 comes in Single SIM and Dual SIM options. It weights 195g and measures 161.8 x 83.5 x 7.8 mm.
