Asus launched Zenfone 3, Zenfone Deluxe, and Zenfone 3 Ultra at computex. Last week we heard that Asus will unveil a variant with Snapdragon 823. However, now new gossip suggests that another variant of Zenfone Deluxe will hit the market with Snapdragon 821.
At the moment there is no official information whether both devices will land in the mobile world or not. We expect that Snapdragon 821 variant could swap Snapdragon 823, while some other renders say that second version could be launched anytime later this year. The Asus could be second manufacturer of Snapdragon 823 powered mobile because rumors say that LeEco is also working on a mobile which will be powered by Snapdragon 823 and it is expected to be unveiled in this month.
Furthermore, the leak suggests that the Snapdragon 821 has a 2.3GHz clock speed which is an improvement from Snapdragon 820 2.15GHz clock speed. On the other hand, rest specifications will be the same. Let’s take a quick glance in specifications of the device.
The smartphone will packs a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It will be powered by either Snapdragon 821 or Snapdragon 823 and it will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone is also expected to come in different variants such as it will have 64/128/256 GB native storage with 4/6 GB RAM. It will posses 23MP rear camera with 8MP front facing camera. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe variant will support Quick charge 3.0 and a 3000 mAh battery will keep the device on. The smartphone will be available in Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, and Shimmer Gold color option.
