OnePlus 5 Expected to Come with 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 835

As reported previously, Chinese Smartphone Company OnePlus will skip OnePlus 4 and launch OnePlus 5 instead. The reason behind the skipping 4th generation smartphone is quite interesting. The Number 4 is considered bad luck in China so the company will hop the OnePlus 4 and it would be replaced with OnePlus 5.

Several rumors about the upcoming OnePlus 5 are circulating over on the internet. According to renders the device will feature a ceramic body, while OnePlus X was the first device to come with zirconia ceramic texture. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 Chipset; Samsung Galaxy S8 is also anticipated to come with the same chipset.

The OnePlus 5 is rumored to have 8GB RAM, so the smartphone is expected to work faster and efficiently as compared to its predecessor. In terms of camera optics, the 16 Megapixels rear camera will be embedded on the back side of the device. An 8 megapixels selfie camera is estimated to embed on the front side.

The device will support fingerprint scanner, quick charging, and pressure sensitive display. The OnePlus 5 will be waterproof just like iPhone 7 or Galaxy S7. It will come with an improved battery; a 4000 mAh battery will wake the device up. When it comes to the launch date the OnePlus 5 is expected to hit the market in Q1 of 2017.
