Samsung Galaxy S8 Rumored to Replace Hardware Keys with Software Keys come with Thin Bezel

According to David Ruddock’s Twitter post, Samsung will swap hardware keys with software keys. The company will probably remove capacitive navigation keys along with the Home Button and introduce software keys.

The Galaxy S8 will feature a 3D Touch functionality for more gesture control. There is a opportunity of customizable navigation keys like LG is also working on its UI for many options. The removal of hardware capacitive keys will be in favor of Galaxy S8 and it will make more space for display by giving less space to bottom bezel.

The leakster didn’t mention anything about the front embedded fingerprint sensor. The exact place of the fingerprint scanner isn’t mentioned but we expect that the company will place the sensor on the backside of the Galaxy S8 or it will be embedded under the display. The Galaxy S8 will be Samsung’s first major device after failure of Note 7, another rumored smartphone Galaxy S8 Plus is expected to replace the Galaxy Note 7.

Previously the smartphone is rumored to come with 8GB RAM, and UFS storage. We recommend take the rumors with a pinch of salt, because the leakster didn’t post any confident source about the news.
