Samsung Officially Launches Galaxy C9 Pro with 16MP Selfie Camera and 6GB RAM

Finally Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has officially launched in the China, the smartphone was listed online ahead of its release. The C9 is a mid-range smartphone and it will be available through Samsung’s China store sale will start from November 11. The significant feature of the C9 Pro is it packs 6GB of RAM, so it is supposed to be faster as compared to its predecessor.

Specifications wise the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is similar to what revealed in the listings. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, with quad cores clocked at 1.95GHz and the rest at 1.4GHz. It sports 6 inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080x1920 resolutions. The C9 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.


The Galaxy C9 Pro has 64GB storage expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card. The Dual SIM device has a 16MP camera on both back camera and front side. The primary 16-megapixel camera comes with an aperture of f/1.9 and a dual-LED flash. The front shooter also has the same aperture sans the flash module.


As for the price, the smartphone will be available for CNY 3,199 (about USD 473) according to current exchange rates. The device supports fast charging and packs a 4000 mAh battery. The Galaxy C9 Pro features a fingerprint scanner embedded on its home button. The Galaxy C9 Pro weighs in 189gm and measures 162.9x80.7x6.9mm. The device connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
