T-Mobile Currently Stops Selling BlackBerry Priv Smartphone

After BB10, BlackBery PRIV was supposed to be master piece in Android mobile world. However, regrettably, the device couldn’t get that much attention because current Android mobiles are doing far better. Today T-Mobile carrier confirmed that currently it is not selling BlackBerry PRIV and it removed the option from its website.

The carrier confirmed that it is not currently selling in BB PRIV in response of a customer query on Twitter. Here confusion is that either company has stopped sale of the smartphone permanently or it will offer BlackBerry again. It seems that the smartphone could back anytime in future. The reason behind this decision is currently vague. The PRIV was only one BB smartphone which T-mobile was selling. The company didn’t say anything about mobile performance but it dropped a device in less than 5 months which obviously is not a good sign. The BlackBerry PRIV was priced high, at the time of launch it was priced like Samsung and iPhone, it came with over USD $700 price tag.

The BB Prive features 5.4 inches AMOLED screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 and runs Android 5.0 lollipop which is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The mobile has 32 GB native storage, 3 GB RAM, 18MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera. The mobile doesn’t support a fingerprint scanner and a 3410 mAh battery keeps the device up.
