This is the end of the year and smartphone manufactures awfully busy in preparing products for the New Year and they wish to celebrate the New Year with their new products in the market. It is going to be the new generation of flagships. So is the case with Samsung Galaxy S6 which is coming in MWC in March 2015 with new version of Android in keeping with Samsung tradition of launching new smartphone early every year like Galaxy S5 in February and S4 in March of previous years.
Samsung is aspiring to make Galaxy S6 a perfect smartphone for the next year and is working hard to bring out a master piece of technology for the users.
Samsung has plan to give a new shape to its new smartphone but will maintain its traditional look to Galaxy S6 with only small additions here and some deletion there. It may have some small decorative features. Despite remaining in traditional boundaries Samsung is still making a batter by metallic unibody to give it a premium look and some dimensional differences to give it a different look.
We still do not know much about exact changes and design features but unibody feature is much debated for its possibilities for this new handset. it is anticipated that metal framing could be easier and convenient rather than a full metallic unibody for housing this new master piece of communication technology. Besides the material and the make of the body colors are other issues attached with this new phone. Another issue relating Galaxy S6 is design of its display and the rumored that it would resemble Galaxy Note Edge and would add nothing new in particular. Galaxy S6 is probably coming with curved edges which make it more convenient to hold in the hand.
There are no clear details about the display of the smartphone but from reading here and there we gather that Galaxy S6 carries approximately 170 grams of weight and 5.5 inches Super AMOLED Display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. In display it will not be very impressive but will provide a reasonably good viewing experience for the users. The other version of Samsung Galaxy S6 will have dual edges and 5.3 inches QHD AMOLED display and the dual edges will served to turn on or off on the choice of users. The screen of the handset is protected with more powerful Gorilla Glass type 4 which increases durability of the device to the maximum extent.
It will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Samsung’s own special features like TouchWiz as in other Samsung devices. This will make a good combination as has been experienced in the past and users will have good usage experience with this combination. It is not only the basic software and TouchWiz but also will have other extras packed in to it. It is expected that the Touch Wiz will provide a good user interface for pleasant experience for the users.
All of the information related to the specs of the handset is the primary in importance and we still cannot say in confirm words on it. It is assumed that the device will be powered with 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (four Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 cores and 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 system on chip and the device will come with 3 GB RAM and the two choices of onboard memory; 32 and 64 which can be further extended up to 128 GB externally. There is another version of the device also expected that will appear with Samsung’s own designed Exynos system on chip which supports the whole features of 64 bit connectivity.
We haven’t heard much about the Galaxy S6’s camera as of late but from the rumors we know that it has 20.71 mega pixel rear and 5 mega pixel front facing camera with autofocus and LED flash. It will have Samsung’s ISOCELL technology and would instead offer the IMX240 sensor (like the Note 4) at either 16 or 20MB, with the likely inclusion of OIS technology. With these specs we expect good photographic results from this smartphone and will not disappoint the users.
Battery
Galaxy S6 will be energized with a massive battery of 4000mAh non removable battery. The battery power seems to be quite enough to give it sufficient backup in normal usage and will not cause any frustration to user in the daily life. However the exact details of talk time and stand by back up are not known. Non removable battery seems to be a negative point of the mobile.
Extra Features
Galaxy S6 is equipped with some extra features in keeping with the requirement of modern smartphones. It has finger print scanner for security purposes and user identification. It is water and dust resistant and can endure some rough handling. It can remain submerged for 30 minutes under 1 meter depth without receiving any harm.
It is expected to be announced at MWC in March 2015 and after that it will make its appearance in the market available for sale. Therefore the users can wait till March to get this wonderful smartphone. We have no news about its price and cannot say a word about it and have to wait till company announces it.
