Motorola Launches Moto Z Play with Moto Mods in India

Finally, Motorola Moto Z Play will be launched today in India; the company declared in its official tweet that the device will come along with its Moto Mods. The users can attach Moto Mods with the smartphone to give it a unique and custom look. Some of these mods contain a Pico projector, battery pack, Hasselblad, JBL speaker, and camera.

There are three variants of the smartphone Moto Z, Moto Z Force, and Moto Z Play, all three smartphones have appeared in Lenovo Tech World conference previously in June.


As for Specifications, the Motorola Moto Z Play features a 5.5 inches Super AMOLED panel with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs Android OS, 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625. It has 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB of RAM. The Moto Z Play has a 16 MP main camera with f/2.0, phase detection and laser autofocus, and dual-LED flash. Its 5 MP front facing camera comes with f/2.2, 1.4 µm pixel size, and LED flash, it can record 1080p videos.


The Moto Z Play comes with 3510 mAh non-removable battery and it supports fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will be available in Black and White color options. The dual SIM device measures 156.4 x 76.4 x 7 mm and weights 165 g.
