It’s just substance of a few days until BlackBerry could launch its new device named as BlackBerry DTEK60. One good thing about the upcoming smartphone is it will be available for purchase worldwide.
A new report from Pocket Line claims that the a novel listing in German Media Markt shows the TCL made BlackBerry smartphone will come with a price tag of around $499. The report says that the device will be launched in Canada, US, and Europe on October 25.
Last year BlackBerry launched its first Android handset BlackBerry Priv, unfortunately the device couldn’t recogniz and warmly welcomed by people. Now the BlackBerry DTEK60 is the second smartphone by the manufacturer, so we hope the latest smartphone will come with improved specifications, and new features.
Rumors hint that the upcoming smartphone will be priced reasonably so it could capture more market share as compare to its last flagship. The rumored specifications include 5.5 inch QHD, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 and coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will have 16MP rear camera and fingerprint sensor will be embedded on its home button.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 will feature dual firing stereo speakers, and a USB-C charging port. BlackBerry devices are was always recognized for their venture and security features so we anticipate the new smartphone will come with even better security system. Possibly, the BlackBerry DTEK60 will replace Galaxy Note 7 but it lacks S Pen and a little larger 5.7 display.
Major retailer in Canada and US are briefly permitted placeholders, but since the device hasn’t made official yet so they can’t accept pre-orders. However, the device is expected to ship in Europe next week, so pre-orders will probably open.
Moreover, the MediaMarkt is a large retailer in Germany has confirmed to proffer the BlackBerry DTEK60 starting October 25. The German retailer priced the BlackBerry DTEK60 at $660 so it seems that the smartphone will not be cheap. However, the United States version is priced at $500 thus we expect that all above mentioned prices are not final. We have to wait a few more days for the final retail price of the smartphone.
