As reported previously, Oppo has announced a new red color Oppo R9s device. The smartphone has a red back shell that features the I am your little power Phone alongside a signature of a popular Chinese singer/actress.
As for specifications, the Oppo R9s weights weights 145g and measures 153 x 74.3 x 6.6 mm. The device features a 5.5 inch AMOLED with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The screen is covered with Corning Gorrila Glass 5 which will protect it from scratches.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625, clocked at Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53, and coupled with Adreno 506. The Oppo R9s has 64 GB native storage and 4 GB of RAM. The dual-SIM device runs Android Marshmallow out of the box. The device packs a 16 MP rear camera with f/1.7, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. The selfie centered camera has 16 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 lens.
The device supports fingerprint embedded on its home button, it also has an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. It has a 3010 mAh battery which supports fast battery charging. The smartphone is available in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colors, now Red has joined them. The smartphone will go on sale on Christmas for CNY 2,799 (approximately $400).
