Oppo Launched Oppo A59s with 16MP Selfie Camera and 3075 mAh Battery

Oppo released its newest mid-range device Oppo A59s in China as the descendant to the Oppo A59. Both devices resemble to each other even dimensions and weight is equal.

As for specifications, Oppo A59s packs a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with the Mali T860 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB native storage which can be enhanced up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, while other mobile makers are launching their devices with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.


The main difference between A59 and A59s is selfie camera, the 16MP front shooter replaced the previous 8MP camera. The A59s selfie camera features f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens. Whilst main cameras on both devices are same with 13MP optics with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The Oppo A59s offers 4G, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz & 5GHz, Bluetooth 4.1, OTG, GPS / A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port connectivity options.The smartphone is backed by 3,075 battery and the battery can last up to 281 hours on standby mode.


The Dual SIM device supports a fast fingerprint scanner fixed into home button. The smartphone comes with Yuan 1,999 price tag and it is available in Rose Gold and Gold color options.
