BlackBerry Reportedly Coming to Verizon

Last week, BlackBerry’s new partner TCL confirmed that next BlackBerry branded devices would be launched at CES 2017, which will hold in the start of January.

However, the name of the BlackBerry smartphones is not officially confirmed yet, but one will be called BlackBerry Mercury which carries model number BBB100. According to a reliable leakster Roland Quandt, the Mercury BBB100 will soon hit Verizon in the US.


The smartphone features a 4.5 inch touch display with QWERTY keyboard. It comes with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed. The device is expected to come with a massive 3400 mAh battery which will wake it up for at least two days. The Mercury BBB100 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, has 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage space. The fingerprint sensor is embedded under the spacebar so you can unlock the device by pressing the space button.


The smartphone is designed by BlackBerry and built by TCL; according to a previous report BlackBerry has announced it won’t release any smartphone from now on. It is said that the Mercury BBB100 is the last smartphone from BlackBerry, so we will continue to update you about the device. There are no official words regarding the smartphone’s availability and price tag.
