Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Software Update to Totally Disable Charging

Samsung eagerly wants to shut off any remaining Galaxy Note 7 smartphone so it is rolling out a software update that will completely disable battery charging. However, all mobile carriers are not collaborating with Samsung.


Samsung has described on its website in a portentous note that its unruly owners that 93 percent return rate for its hazardously faulty Galaxy Note7 device isn't good sufficient. The company wants all of its unfortunate Note 7 smartphones to be twisted in spite of the wishes of the smartphone’s owners. To make it happen, Samsung is sending out an update that will put off the smartphone from charging its batteries.


Samsung Corporate Communications, Brenna Eller, said in the company's official statement, "To further augment contribution, a software update will be launched starting on Dec. 19 and will be dispersed within 30 days."


The software update will prevent the United States Galaxy Note7 devices from charging and will eradicate their aptitude to work as mobile devices. Jointly with our carrier associates, we will be inform customers throughout numerous touch points to support any leftover Galaxy Note7 consumers to contribute in the plan and to acquire benefit of the economic inducement available.


It doesn’t mean after disabling charging ability you can’t charge the Note 7, users can use the device while plugged in to a power supply. It will efficiently take the battery absent of the equation and it's those discharge batteries that caused the problem.
