CEO Confirms Lenovo ZUK Edge Coming Next Week

The upcoming Lenovo ZUK Edge phone has already cleared TENAA certification, and also popping up in rumors mill every now and then. According to CEO former Lenovo VP Chang Cheng on Weibo, the device  could be made official anytime in next week.

 

However, he didn’t reveal exact date of the ZUK Edge smartphone, he shared a new render related ZUK Edge, which shows both the front side and back side of the phone, next to with its packaging. In terms of specifications, the ZUK Edge features a 5.5 inches resolution with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The device comes in 32/64 GB internal storage options and 4 GB of RAM.


As for camera, the device packs a 13MP rear camera phase detection autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama feature. It will also come with an 8 MP front facing camera too.


It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth  v4.1, A2DP, LE connectivity options. The ZUK Edge will come with a 3000 mAh juice pack with fast charging support. The smartphone will be available in Black and White color options. It will run Android OS, v6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.


Previous rumors suggest that the smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat so let’s wait till the device launches in the event. The name of the device hints that the smartphone will come with curved edges but lately leaked pictures show that there will be minimum chances of the curved screen.
