Finally, Xperia X Compact is now available for purchase in the US; a week ago the device was up for pre-orders in the country. The device comes with a $500 price tag and you can buy it via Amazon.
To recall, the Xperia X Compact features a 4.6 inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650, coupled with Hexa-core (4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53& 2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72), and clocked at Adreno 510. The smartphone has 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB of RAM.
In terms of camera, the Xperia X Compact houses a 23 MP rear camera with f/2.0, 24mm, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. There is a 5 MP front camera as well for quality selfies. The smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot connectivity. It supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass, and color spectrum sensors. The device gets power via a 2700 mAh battery pack.
During the pre-orders the smartphone was available for $450 but now the $50 discount offer seems to end and the Xperia X Compact can be purchased for $500. It comes in three colors such as White, Universe black, and Mist blue.
