Verizon Delays Google Pixel 128GB Smartphone Shipment until December 26

As we reported previously, Google Pixel is a premium handset and it is capturing more market share. A couple of weeks ago, a screenshot of a text message received by a Verizon user who had ordered the 128GB Google Pixel XL.

 

The Google Pixel 128GB is in heavy demand and it was supposed to ship on November 26 after orginal delay of more than two weeks. After putting in a call to Big Red on November 26th, he was told that the phone would not ship until December 26th. The customer also received a text message with the similar bad news.

As per telephonic conversation that a reader had with a Verizon customer service rep, the November 20th arrival date of the smartphone was sent mistakenly.  They also mentioned that December 26th date was the actual ship date.

 

So the customer cancelled his order, he wanted to replace his Samsung Galaxy Note 7 so he replaced it with Motorola Moto Z Force Droid. Google Pixel phones are making good profits and the company is expected to sell $3.8 billion worth device next year.

 

The smartphone features a 5 inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It runs Android OS 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and it is powered with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 coupled at Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo). It has 32/128 GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. In terms of camera, there is a 12.3 MP rear camera with f/2.0, EIS (gyro), phase detection & laser autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash.

 

It has a 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.4, 1/3.2" sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, and it can record 1080p videos as well. The Google Pixel houses a 2770 mAh battery and available in Quite Black, Very Silver, and Really Blue.
