Huawei Launched Honor 8, Honor 8 Smart, and Honor Holly in India

China’s leading mobile maker Huawei has unveiled Honor 8, Honor 8 Smart, and Honor Holly in India. In the Honor series, the Honor 8 is flagship phone and it has a similar camera system on the back as the Huawei P1.

As for specifications, the Honor 8 features a 5.2 inch LTPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 950 and runs Android Marshmallow out of the box. It has 32/64 GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. The Honor 8 features 2.5D glass on the back and front with rounded edges. The handset houses Dual 12 MP main cameras with f/2.2, laser autofocus, and dual-LED flash. An 8 MP secondary camera with f/2.4, 1.4 µm pixel size come on the front side of the device.


The Honor 8 offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band,WiFi Direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The device supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. It supports fast battery charging which charges 47% in 30 minutes. The Honor 8 gets power with a 3000 mAh battery and the smartphone is available in Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Gold color options. The Dual SIM smartphone is priced for $449 or (INR 29,999) according to current exchange rates.


The Honor 8 Smart packs a 5.2 inch display with 1080p resolution. It is powered by Kirin 650 processor, has 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 camera on the back, 8 megapixel camera on the front, and a 3000 mAh battery. The Honor 8 Smart has an aluminum alloy frame and it will be available for $299 (roughly INR 19,999).


The third smartphone is Honor Holly 3 sports a 5.5 inch display and it is Huawei’s first smartphone to be made in India. It has 13MP main camera and an 8MP front facing optics. The Honor Holly 3 has a 3100 mAh battery and it comes with a $149 price tag.
